Staff Members Of Marijuana Dispensaries In Phoenix City

By Kevin Ward

A dispensary is a store through which medical supplies such as medical equipment and medicines are dispensed to members of the public. The attendant in the stores is usually a specialist who is trained in drug preparation and functioning. Marijuana versions of dispensaries dispense cannabis and all its products in a similar way to a conventional dispensary. Marijuana dispensaries in Phoenix are easy to locate because they are many and are located in places where they can be found easily.

The first dispensary to be established in the US for the sole purpose of selling and supplying cannabis was set up in early years of 1990s in San Francisco. Dennis Peron was the individual responsible for opening the facility. It was set up as a San Francisco Cannabis Buyers Club. The public received it with applause while the government made it very hard for it to operate. Over the years, laws have loosened and the club has set an example for similar establishments to come up.

Dispensaries that sell cannabis to people can be classified into two main groups, that medical and recreational marijuana dispensaries. In medical varieties of these stores, only people with medical conditions that allow them to use the product can make a purchase. They are only sold an amount for their own use.

In medical cannabis stores, buyers are required to show some identification document before they can buy the product. These store sell all products related to cannabis such as leaves, flowers, roots, stems, and buds in various forms. Some of the forms it is sold in include fresh, dried, roasted, and steamed among others. Patients with prescriptions from a medical doctor can buy any of the items sold at the stores. However, people who do not have a prescription may be allowed to buy flowers only.

An identification document is also required from buyers in recreational marijuana stores. Entrance and purchase of products can only be done by people aged 21 and above. Restrictions are applied on what kind of products are available for purchase. In most places, these facilities can only sell flowers of the cannabis plant. The law also demands that they close by seven in the evening.

Inspection of identity documents at the entrance may be done by an armed guard. Banks usually show reluctance towards taking money from these businesses, which makes them cash businesses. The lack of approval by the federal government is the main cause of reluctance on the part of banks. Stores usually have cameras installed so that activities can be monitored in the stores. Cameras are installed at the behest of state laws.

In some establishments, buyers are presented with menus containing the various items to choose from. Cannabis can be prepared in over twenty different preparations. People who are not sure about what they want can ask for guidance from the attendant at the front desk. Cannabis can be classified into three main categories, that is sativa, indica, and the hybrid.

The kind of preparation one buys determines the price they pay. Some preparations are highly priced than others. Location is the other determinant of price. In some places, prices are very high while in other it is low. Debate towards total legalization is being aided by economic benefits that have been realized in states that have legalized the product.
